Front Cover
Image
The background pattern and colours on the front cover of the CD work well with the main focus of the artist and the text creating a vintage feel and attracting the costumers eye. The artist herself been edited with light colours to make her look soft and is positioned across all of the cover connoting this is her album helping people recognize the name on the album.
Copy
The only writting on the front cover of the CD is the name of the artist and of the album. The text is big making it clear and eye catching whilst the white text stands out against all of the image and also makes the cover look as if it is reflecting old Hollywood horror movie posters with the striking text and colouring working with the vintage feel the image already holds.
Target Audience
All the vintage effects connote that the artist herself and her music is very quirky and on trend, fitting in with the indie pop stereotypes. The vintage trend is most popualr with young quirky middle class adults and its is clear this album reflects this trend, targeting at the main costumers of it.
Inlay
Back Cover
Unlike the front cover the back cover doesn't not use a vintage styled background however the same colours and font are used connoting that the themes shown on the front are carried throughout the album. Again there is only a single artist on the back showing that this is a singer not a band as she is again the main focus. The main text that stands out is the album track list, some pre-album tracks may stand out to a buyer making them want to purchase the album. The back also repeats the album and artist name whilst also giving additional information.
Image
the opening image is of a woman's red lips singing. This shows the audience who the singer, however the red lipstick could connote a dangerous or seductive side of the artist. The video then carries on to show a party crowd of young people, even though there are many people at the party the artist is still the main focus throughout the video standing out in quirky, vintage style outfits. There are a lot of bright colours in the video connoting a happy, youthful atmosphere with bright lighting used throughout. The house in which the video is set also has a vintage look to it with the decorations used. The video also reflects old Hollywood glamour, along with the use of red, white and blue through out linking the video and the song together.
Editing
The video consist of straight cuts to the main artist with fades used in the break down of the song to show other characters in the video. There is a slow motion added to song parts of the video and this again creates a almost seductive feel. The end of the video has a main focus of the woman and fades to black making sure she is the last person in the clip seen making her memorable to the audience.
Narrative
There is no real narrative in the video, the only focus is the artist even though the lyrics of the song tell a story the video does not focus on this element. There are no real characters in the video either, just extras in clothing relating to the lyrics.Album Advert:

The same image of the artist and text from the album cover is used again for the advertisement of the new album making the image well known to the public. The artist name is again bigger than the ablum tittle making it evident who the artist is along with including the pre-released big hits from the album to help people recognize the artist and become attracted to buying a full album by them.
